Financial Analyst

Position Responsibilities

The person will be a member of the Test and QA team for the common analytics platform applications, with an emphasis on testing the application performance and network distributed computing capability, though testing of other application functionality is also his/her job responsibility. This team will make sure that various analytical models (prepayment model, interest model, etc.) and algorithms are implemented correctly, so correct cash flows and risk measures are produced. It is also the responsibility of this team to ensuring that the data in client�s asset and liability portfolios are accurate and in the format required by the models.

Specifically, the qualified applicant will be responsible for:

� Develop test plan and test cases and conduct hands on testing according to the plan, with an emphasis on testing the technical side of the application such as application performance, resource usage and network distributed computing capacity.
� Developing and maintaining automated regression test framework and test cases.
� Interfacing with client internal customers and users to track software issues and communicate resolutions.
� Creating and maintaining good test documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Professional Qualifications

� Bachelor�s Degree in a quantitative field, such as math, engineer and finance.
� MBA in finance desirable.
� 3+ years of software testing.
� 3+ years of programming using c, C++, Java, SQL, shell scripts, Perl, etc.
� 3+ years of database development experiences preferred.
� 3+ year of using UNIX systems.
� Familiar with testing tools and configuration management tools, such as WinRunner, LoadRunner, SharePoint, CVS, ClearQuest, ClearCase, TestDirector, test coverage tools, etc.
� Understanding of mortgage and fixed income securities modeling and analytics and general accounting knowledge preferable.
